100% Pure cosmetics

Reasons why to love Natural cosmetic brands? Because they use natural and earth-friendly (not to mention skin-friendly) ingredients. Try narrowing down those type of cosmetic brands.... Not much, right? I recently crossed by 100% Pure cosmetics' website, and found it interesting & exciting! If you're not familiar with 100% Pure cosmetics, they have tons of natural products, from cosmetics to body lotions, body washes AND they just launched their own skin care line. And it's all with natural ingredients. And not only that, but they use Fruit pigments! If you read some of my previous & early posts back when I began the blog, you'll know that I tend not to use so much products when it comes to skin care. I always go with the natural home remedies & quick fixes like drying lotion. But since it's 100% natural, I think I might give it a try sometime.

Like I mentioned above they sell natural cosmetics. Well for one, my everyday makeup are the basics: mineral powder (or tinted moisturizer), mascara, & gloss. And that's it. Sometimes I would add eyeshadow, eyeliner, etc. But in short, that is my basic makeup set. So far I've been sticking with the same basic makeup products. But now, I just HAVE to share my new top 3 faves!

Since I have very fair skin, I always go for a more tan-ish type of tone in Tinted Moisturizers, a tone that's just a tad bit stronger than mine. Or else, I'll look like the vampires from Twilight. We all know It's tough finding a good foundation these days. One that blends well, has the right skin tone, good coverage, and doesn't cause any break outs. 100% Pure tinted moisturizer has that flawless blending that I'm always looking for. It correctly blends in with my skin tone, and the best part is that it doesn't have that "thick layer of ew" that makes you look all cakey & fake, or even oily. Remember to spread it out so it can be absorbed into the skin. It has a great coverage and when applied it gives off a beautiful natural glow. It has a good level of moisture, and it's not scented. But If I did have to describe the scent, I would say it's a very light scent of sunscreen, probably the Zinc. It reminds me of beaches! ha! Don't all sunscreens do?

It lasts all day and I can barely feel it on my face. According to the ingredients, this product contains 100% natural ingredients. Below I included the list of the ingredients & pigments included in this Tinted Moisturizer:

Active Ingredients:
15% Titanium Dioxide
10% Zinc Oxide

Other Ingredients:
May contain all or some of the follow ingredients: Peach, Apricot, Carrot, Pomegranate, Cocoa Bean, Goji berry and Tomato, White Tea, Cucumber juice, Aloe juice, Acai oil, Pomegranate oil, Vitamin E (a-tocopherol), Vitamin C (ascorbyl palmitate), Rice Starch, Candelilla Wax, Extracts of Rosemary, Oregano, Thyme, Grapefruit seed, Japanese Honeysuckle, Goldenseal and Cinamon.

This tube is the size of a hand. From your tallest finger's tip, to right above the wrist. A lot of product in it. It's about $32, and worth it! They offer sheer to medium coverage. And you have many different tones to choose from.

This is a MUST-HAVE. I have concealers everywhere with me. It is, and will forever be, a must-have for me. This is perfect for quick fixes or whenever you need to cover up a small blemish, or a red spot, even a scar. Concealers are life savers at times. 100% pure Fruit Pigmented brightening Concealer with SPF 20  offers a good matte coverage. It blends in nicely without leaving an oily or cakey trail, and it goes well with foundation. It's good at covering up simple blemishes such as red spots, small scars, and dark circles. If you need to cover up big blemishes, I suggest applying a fair coat of tinted moisturizer/foundation first, and then apply the concealer. It lasts all day, you can barely feel it, and it's made with natural ingredients like all their products. It doesn't clog up pores as much as other brand-name concealers. They offer a good variety tones to choose from, has a good amount of product, $16. Overall, it's a very good concealer, great to keep in hand!

Like always, I save the best for last. So far, I've been through TONS of mascaras. More than you can imagine, from drugstore to brand-name mascaras. A lot of them clump the lashes, and since I have straight lashes, all I obviously care about is getting that curl and length all day without having to deal with clumpy lashes. One that's easy to remove. This is the Fruit pigmented black tea mascara. I use about 2-3 coats, and that's all it takes to get good results. It's really easy to apply and avoid clumping the lashes with the wand. It adds a nice length & volume to the lashes, as well as the curl. The curl does wear off a bit during the day, but you still have great lashes.

The bristles are perfect. They don't carry any clumps of mascara whatsoever and it separates the lashes while combing and curling them. As well as leaving the nice dark pigment. It's easy to remove, doesn't dry or smudge, and it doesn't stain your under eyes. The thing I hate the most is staining my under eyes with mascara! It's sooo hard to remove. But that's why makeup removers exist..

Before trying this, I was using Great Lash by Maybelline -in blackest black- and well it is good with pigment. It doesn't do a very good job at keeping the the curl or length. More like it sticks straight out, like llama lashes. It stains my under eyes, and you've GOT to be careful around this mascara. It could stain anything. So personally when comparing this 'famous' brand-name mascara to 100% pure black tea mascara, which one do you think is worth it? Sure you can probably find Great Lash for $5-$6 at a drugstore, but 100% pure beats the quality. It has more product than Great Lash, offers good quality, and on top of that it's natural. I'd rather buy Black Tea mascara than to stick with $6 llama lashes.

P.S. They also have mini mascaras! Perfect size for travel. Now that, is a must-have for a travel bag. ; )

Disclosure: I received a sample of each product. There was no monetary compensation at all. All thoughts & opinions are 100% mine. I am affiliated with this company.

My Lip Stuff - Lip Balm review

Hey Everyone!

Yes, you guessed it! Another Review and Giveaway! And this one is a special one ;) one of my most favorite sites that have TON of lip products, so be sure to keep reading my experience and opinion on one of the products, and enter the special giveaway! ;)
My Lip Stuff is a really nice shop where you can find ALL TYPES of different lip products, from lip balms, to lip sticks, to even Tinted Lip gloss! And one of the things that I always look for in lip products, is good quality. (of course!) And that's exactly what I found at My Lip Stuff

Okay, so I got to try out three different Natural Lip Balms (in the image above) I got the Strawberry Milkshake, Gingerbread House, and the After Dinner Mint.
What I really like about them is that, they are easy to apply, like they have this type of oily texture that just let's you apply it smoothly on your lips and leave a good smooth feeling.
The scent is nothing strong, in fact I LOVE IT, it's so light and refreshing (one of the things I hate most is wearing a strong scented lip product that smells like cheesecake.....err..yeah.) But these have a nice light scent, simply refreshing.

Plus also to mention they have OVER 400 FLAVORS for these Natural Lip Balms....WHOA! Talk about all types of flavors! It's like a Lip Balm Wonderland, so My Lip Stuff definitely has some good variety!
I checked out the prices for these lip balms, and let me tell you one thing, have you ever bought a lip balm with such good quality....and at such a great price? $2.50! Wow...I just have to honestly say that I am in love.

My most favorite out of the Three is the Strawberry Milkshake lip balm, okay, I am OBSESSED with this one! I love it, I wear it everyday, all the time. This one I always carry around in my purse with me, or when I go out I just carry it in my clutch bag, I just simply love this flavor and I am obsessed with it.

I have to say, it's also hard choosing my next favorite, because both the Gingerbread house Lip balm and the After Dinner Mint lip balm are both great! The After dinner mint is so refreshing and so minty! And the Gingerbread house is a really "comfy at home" type of smell. It somehow reminds me of baking at Christmas, it's a really good scent, I can't really tell which of the both are my favorite.

Also remember earlier in the review I said "it has some type of oily texture" . Well guess what? I just checked the lip balm info and it says that these lip balms are made with the finest butters and oils blended to create the ultimate lip moisturizer. I was right!

These lip balms are not sticky at ALL! so no worries about the "big sticky messes". They also last really long, so you won't have to be "re-applying" your lip balm every 5 minutes, it lasts good and long. They are clean, easy to use, and easy to store in any purse, or even your back jean pocket!
I think I am definitely going to switch and stick to My Lip Stuff lip balms, for sure.

Oh but My Lip Stuff has tons of more products, not just Lip balms, you cannot believe how much variety they have in lip products! I can't even start to explain, don't be lazy and check it out for yourself.

"Cover your Hair" Review

Hey Everyone!

Yes! You guessed it! Today is another special Review + Giveaway post! Today we have a super cute Store called "Cover Your Hair" (coveryourhair.com) where you can find anything and everything from Hair Accessories, to hats, bandana's, hair bands and headbands & a dozen of other Hair goodies!
Okay, well let me just say what makes Cover Your Hair appealing to me, and different from other Hair Accessory stores, is that they have a lot of variety. You can find so many accessories. Whether its caps or bandanas! They have many different colors, styles. I swear, I mean what you can't find in some department store for hair accessories, you WILL DEFINITELY find it at Cover Your Hair.

One of the other things that I have to mention is that they have really good affordable prices & yet very good quality in products. They also have deals, sales, and promotions going on every week. Here are some of the latest Discounts & Promotions going on:
Okay so I got to try out one of their Tichels which looks like this:
(Picture from Coveryourhair.com)

Okay well first, I did try out many different ways on how I could wear this. It may be weird, but at the end, I came up with many different ways to wear this Tichel on your hair. I was able to wear it as a headband, also another style, is using it as a headband, but without your hair loose. Like doing a low ponytail or a nice braid and wearing this on top as a headband looks so CUTE!!

And well on hot summer days (since my hair is long) it would start to be a bother. Because you just want to get your hair out of your face, or pull it up on a ponytail. Well I was really excited to try this out, and it turned out to be the best tool ever! I used it like the the image above, fixed my hair a bit, to make it due-able, cute, yet still the purpose of what I need it for. Woowwee! I was able to go on all day, looking stylish, with no hair bothering me under the hot summer day!

You can tell from the moment you hold it in your hand, that is is VERY good quality, like the cloth that was used to make this is really good. It's easy to use and try it on. Super cute pattern and design. I got TONS and TONS of compliments on this (while wearing it, of course!! lol) from friends and family. And I also remember a few people from a Mall (while I was checking out a few trends) complimenting and asking where I bought it. Doesn't it give you such a good feeling when people compliment on what your wearing? And then they ask you where did you get it? ;)

I am definitely recommending this to all my readers! If you want to spice up your hairstyle, there is a whole bunch of hair accessories that you will Love at Cover your Hair!

The Cream Perfume Company Review

Hey Everyone!

I hope you had a great 4th of July yesterday! :) Did you see or hear any nearby fireworks?
Today we've got a special Review + Giveaway Post! So be sure to check it out ;)
The Cream Perfume company basically creates lotions, body moisturizers that are perfumed using fruit extracts, natural oil blends, organic essentials to create these Body Lotions and and Solid Fragrances. And guess what Animal Lovers? they are 100% Cruelty Free ;) Which makes even better!

After trying the Coconut Vanille, Rose de Rosee, and Lavender Ecume perfumed body moisturizer, I knew it was something I would be using every single day, ...literally!
The 3 of them have such a smooth moisturized texture, that when you apply it on your skin, it doesn't feel sticky, icky, gooey, its a really soft and a silky touched feeling. Also one of the things I love about it, is that it doesn't take long to disappear, you just apply it, and it "dries" leaving a smooth silky trace behind, with that beautiful fragrance scent! And the best part is, that whenever you feel your skin is dehydrated, this also provides the oils, extracts, and vitamins to hydrate the skin. (One of the many things that makes me use this product 24/7)

And to tell the truth, I seriously have my Rose de Rosee Perfumed body moisturizer bottle 2/3 empty!! Eeek! It's just such a great perfumed moisturizer, I mean what else can you ask for? beautifully perfumed moisturizer, no stickiness, no gooey-ness after feeling, hydrates your skin, leaves it silky smooth with the according scent of the bottle

This is definitely something I HAVE to have in my vanity and around my night table

Next up! see those two short cuties? Those are actually Solid Fragrances (it is like a solid cream substance, it is exactly like this:
I have to tell you, MY FAVORITE of all time is the "Mimosa Bouquet"! It is such an exquisite fragrance, like those type of fragrances that once you smell them, there is no one to stop you, Lol!
Usually these are perfect for applying on the neck (like how you would spray on your perfume, but instead you can apply this).

These little suckers are perfect for storing anywhere or carrying it with you in your purse (or Clutch!) and whenever you need to doll up and add some perfume, just take this sucker out and apply some, and your ready to go!
I even got lots of great comments and compliments, asking what perfume is it and where did I buy it

I also tried out the Melon d'eau, which is sweet and sophisticated. And I never even have to worry about re-applying, because it lasts all day, literally, all day!

And I would really recommend anyone to try these out for yourselves, I am absolutely sure (no doubt) that you will love em'
And do they have different types of scents? You bet they do!

Mineral Basics Eyeshadow's Review

Hey everyone,

This week is going great so far, how about yours? ;) Well we've got two upcoming Reviews + Giveaways, such as the Mineral Basics & The Cream Perfume Company (Kaponga.com) and well I am very excited! Also very glad to know that my readers are enjoying and are interested in my posts, and that just makes my day :)! I am glad those of you who read are interested in what I post, and I will keep doing more! ;)

So let's get started with the Mineral Basics Eyeshadow Review + Giveaway!! ;)
Mineral Basics is a Mineral Makeup brand that focuses on giving the best natural cosmetics to people with any type of skin tone. And you know, I am a sucker for Mineral Makeup ;)
They have tons of Cosmetics, from Mineral eyeshadows to lip products, Makeup brushes, to gift sets and collections and much more.
I got a chance to checkout the mineral eyeshadows
And got to try out 15 eyeshadow samples, and these were the 15 samples I chose:

What I really love about the Mineral Basic Eyeshadow's is that they are all really pigmented. A really good quality. I never had any problem applying them or anything. They are not too shimmery and not too matte, just the right type. Also, you can choose if you want shimmer or matte, that doesn't really matter. To tell the truth, I did use up all of these for different looks, which turned out amazing!

Also to point out that the Apricot Corrector, Pink Corrector, Earth, and Perfect Tan are also used for cheeks - mineral powder. Which is really cool. I really did love the Earth since it was perfect as a summer Bronzer, which I applied on the cheekbone.

They are easy to apply and easy to take off. But what impressed me the most, is that it didn't waste so easily. I created a smokey eye look using Forest AND Wind & Sea and I've been with it the entire day probably for 6-8 hours, and it lasted, which is what I always look for in any makeup I tend to try out.

And it's really hard to choose one favorite, since they all colors are beautiful. Some that Stand out are the Gold Shimmer, Bronze Shimmer, Paradise Aqua, and Emerald Fire really stand out (not in like the whole "shimmer" or too bright concept. But more like they stand out from all the colors; )

I had a great experience trying these out, and I would recommend anyone who is a Mineral Makeup Lover, like myself. And trying new colors is great, because I have never seen these type of colors in any palettes or eyeshadows I have tried before. The Mineral Basics eyeshadows are unique.

Crazy Dog T-shirts Review

Hey Everyoonnee!!

How was everyone's week? Mine was fine, planning new ideas for FashionGirlz.
I was thinking, Should I put polls in the blog? with interesting questions and your opinions, comment below and tell me what ya think ;)
Anyway Today I have a SUPER DUPER amazing post for all you! I came across this website, and guess what? They have great funny shirts! Fashionable yet Funny!

So I decided to do a little review for everyone, it's a new addition to the "Check it Out!"
Here is one of my FAVE picks, and shirts I chose:
{Haha, yeah, my apologies, my camera was apparently "mad" at me, so I couldn't take a pic, so this picture is from the Site}

Anyway let's see what can I say about the T-Shirt??....
First of all, that it is Super nice and comfy, no itchy price tickets, no itchy cloth! It is a smooth, stretchy, and comfortable to wear.
One of the things that surprised me when I got this T-Shirt was that, it runs very, very well on Sizes. I know my measurements and ordered a Medium and it turned out to be the PERFECT size! [Usually there are OTHER stores that run horribly on sizes, which bothers me, but this one surprised me, and I do recommend you to check it out!]

What Else? Well This shirt has Attitude and it talks, because of course, The Shirt and I combined are ONE TOUGH COOKIE :) What made me smile is that all of the shirts from the Crazy Dog T-shirts Store have little funny sayings, little jokes, ......and by the way, if you are a fan of a movie, and looking for a shirt, try browsing in their movie shirts section!

They have a very wide selection of shirts, ranging from $5-$29, which I can tell ya this, there's a whole bunch of Crazy Dog shirts in a great price that I don't think you will find anywhere else...
Speaking of very Wide selection of shirts, talk about Family Selections, there's type of shirts for everyone! Shirts for your Husband or Wife, Shirts for Teenage Boys and Girls (funny cute ones for girls, and lots of cool ones for guys, especially if they love Chuck Norris, or funny action movie shirts) There is even a few Dog Clothing, and Dog Shirts for Dog Lovers of course! :)

Well...let's just say, once I started wearing the "One Tough Cookie Shirt" ....there was absolutely no way to get me out of that shirt.

It also makes a great combination with many types of jeans, pants, jean vests, it just does. Like I said "It's Fashionable Yet Funny!"

Yes, Yes....They have a lot, probably every funny shirt you can think of, yep, That's Crazy Dog T-shirts!

There is more info if you wanna Buy It, I would recommend the store and shirts to anyone who loves Fan-Shirts, Vintage, Movie, Random & Funny shirts!
