And she's done it again. Surprised?
Expecting another awesome & rare outfit at the Carpet entrance of MTV's VMA, turns out to be a very raw dress (can it get any stranger?). Wearing a Franc Fernandez raw meat dress, Gaga struts down the carpet with not only a meat dress, but matching meat boots, hat, and purse. How does Gaga stand this dress? Besides the stench of the meat, I'm pretty sure the meat didn't come cold. You can see her glistening under the TV lights..
Not only was she showing off her meat get-up at the carpet, but she also accepted "Video of the year" award for "Bad Romance". Asking Cher to hold her meat purse, Gaga accepted the award, right when majority of the audience started realizing what she was wearing. The PETA team found this rather offensive, and considered this as "raw meat from a poor dead animal", and how "being under the TV lights for so long will start giving off a horrible smell and attract maggots to the dress." Holy cow, I wonder what it was like for the person who was sitting next to Gaga at the award show.
After the VMA's, Gaga attended a live interview with Ellen DeGeneres on the Ellen show, most likely defending her meat get-up and explaining why it shouldn't be offensive at all. "If we don't stand up for what we believe in, or if we don't fight for our rights, pretty soon we're gonna have as much rights as the meat on our bones. Annnnd... I am not a piece of meat." as the audience emerges into claps and whooo's Ellen jokingly brings out a vegi bikini with a corn-cusk green & yellow skirt, and suggests her to wear this next time she decides to "pose with a bikini".
